New Players

The RCSA has two divisions of play, Open and Women’s. The Open Division is coed, and the Women’s Division is for women only. For more details on each division, visit the following sites:

New Players

You can join a team in multiple ways:

  • Attend the RCSA Meet and Greet,February 21st, Scandals, 4-6pm or the New Player Skills Clinic, February 28th, Farragut Park. Scroll down for more information about both events!
  • Download and Fill out the RCSA New Player Form (Word) and email to the membership committee at membership@rosecitysoftball.org.

In all cases, you will be contacted and either invited to attend the Meet and Greet, Skills Clinic or contacted by current team’s manager for evaluation and placement. Then you will given the opportunity to join an existing team or be part of starting a new team!

MEET AND GREET: Come to our New Player Meet and Greet and learn all about the RCSA and how you can join a team. The Officers, Coaches, Managers and Players from both the Women’s Division and the Open Division will be there to talk, answer questions, and give you the information you need to have a great season with us. All levels from beginner to advanced welcome. This event is free!

NEW PLAYER DAY: Grab your Glove, bring some Cleats and join us for this fun filled day at Farragut Park. Dust off your softball skills (or learn new ones). This is not a tryout, as everyone who wants to play will get placed on a team for the 2010 Season. This event is free! Open Division: 12 noon, Women’s Division 2pm.
